v2 v3 1 1 = Ariba - Overlay-based Middleware = 2 2 3 Ariba is an overlay-based middleware that implements the underlay abstraction layer of the [http://www.spovnet.de Spontaneous Virtual Networks] (SpoVNet) architecture. It aims to ease the development of flexible, adaptive, and spontaneous overlay-based services on top of heterogeneous networks. To this end, Ariba provides generic mechanisms for dealing with underlay characteristics and by providing an identifier based addressing scheme.3 Ariba is an overlay-based middleware that implements the underlay abstraction layer of the [http://www.spovnet.de Spontaneous Virtual Networks] (SpoVNet) architecture. It aims to ease the development of flexible, adaptive, and spontaneous overlay-based services on top of heterogeneous networks.
